Our herd is at the heart of the healing we offer. These horses carry stories, hold space, and show up for every person who comes through our gates in need of calm, connection, and compassion.
But showing up takes energy, and it starts with hay.
Just Hay. Just the Basics.
It costs $35 for a single bale of hay, and each bale gives us about 10 meals.
With 9 horses eating three times a day, we go through nearly three full bales every single day, that adds up quickly.
To feed just one horse for one month, it costs $315.
To feed our whole herd, it’s over $2,800 every month, just for hay.
This doesn’t include vet care, supplements, medicine, or farrier visits, and it doesn’t touch the mountain of past medical debt we’re still slowly paying off.
This is just hay.
